My son recently purchased a PSP slim 2001 (piano black) by itself, brand new, from Amazon.com. I have been trying to downgrade it to ANY cfw that it'll take using my magic memory stick and pandora battery. When I try this, the only thing I get is a green light and a black screen! The PSP never boots into service mode! I tried the same mms and pandora battery with my gray, PSP (Jaxter edition) and it worked fine. Has anyone had this problem and if so, is there a way to get by this?
The newer PSPs (both the 2000 and 3000) have a new motherboard that has yet to be hacked

I know the 3000 hasn't been hacked yet but I had another experienced PSP hacker say that the 2001 that I had WAS hackable. I tried to get a link as to how to hack it and never got a reply. What can I do?
