You will have to do some resizing to be able to use them for a PSP theme.

no. they're like ptf's for the psp and won't be able to brick or mess up your ps3

the ps3 icons are bigger than the psp icons so you will have change the size

copy it to PS3\THEME\ on a usb flash drive, sd card, ms stick, etc.
then select install theme under theme settings on your PS3
